Tonight we secured a signed contract from the present owner of 1802 Madison, with closing to be held next month. It looks like this project will actually get off the ground!
CHIC 2018, in cooperation with the Capitol Heights Civic Association, will putting out a call for initial investors/contributors in the coming days. After closing the real job will begin. We're hoping that our neighbors will see this as an opportunity to show the city of Montgomery what Capitol Heights can do! In the months ahead we'll be organizing work parties, fundraisers, and other activities in an effort to move this project forward. Please consider contributing and being a part of this effort, whether it's showing up to help clean up the property, donating $25 to buy some paint, or doing something else to invest in our neighborhood and our city. Together we can make it happen!
It's actually going to happen...the contract is signed and initialed by both parties!! May we have wisdom in all that we do...
